Heres a fun one. To replace a Cat on a Mitsubishi, is $4600 Canadian for the part.
In my case, the P0420 code on a 01 Subaru Legacy went away after replacing the exhaust gasket just after the downstream O2 sensor. I was unable to find OEM exhaust gasket anywhere, so I used a toyota one with some copper sealant around it. Passed smog today without any issues.
